Managing Partner (Switzerland)
Digital technology has always been at the heart of Didier’s professional journey, from his early years of research in Nuclear Physics and Machine Learning to his later executive and entrepreneur positions. As general manager at Philips and Technicolor, he had P&L responsibilities with revenues of up to 250M€. As CTO in these companies, he steered international R&D of more than 600 engineers. With his company, FiZ, he advised large corporations and supported the creation of technology start-ups. He led one as CEO, reaching in four years 30M€ revenue with positive EBITDA and cash flow, delivering tiers-1 customers such as Swisscom and Orange. As COO at tiko, a Swisscom subsidiary developing innovative smart grid systems, he organized and transformed the company from a brilliant startup to a structured and customer-oriented company. He recently supported the creation of H3Funds, a VC fund for early-stage investment in start-ups in AI, IoT, Connectivity. He is helping in raising funds and developed a promising deal flow. Didier holds an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique (France), an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics, and a Ph.D. in High-Energy Nuclear Physics. He is also graduated from the ESSEC business school.
